In 2000, Pacita moved to Singapore after living for seven stimulating years in Indonesia.
She started the millennium by spending six weeks in Rajasthan, India, where she was inspired by the fabrics, textures, mirrors and colors. She then returned to her studio to work on her "Sky is the Limit" series, her homage to India.
A few months later Pacita launched her 144-piece "Wayang Dinnerware Collection" at the Koi Gallery in Jakarta, that she designed, painted and made in collaboration with James de Rave of Kedaung, an Indonesian ceramic manufacturer. Each piece is individually designed and painted by Pacita, and a 56-page book "Wayang Dinnerware" was published to document the collection.
Pacita received the PAMANA NG PILIPINO Award, awarded by the President of the Philippines, for outstanding achievement in the arts.Read More
