Pacita Abad was actively involved with the diverse global communities where the she worked, willingly devoting time to giving courses, workshops and lectures about art to numerous groups of people, including children, adults and the aged. Professionally, she actively engaged with artists and supported art organizations, joined in group projects and participated in art panels and symposia organized by museums, regional art groups and universities.
