In 'Assaulting the Deep Sea', Pacita shares her pleasure and excitement about the vibrant rhythms of undersea life. The eight trapunto paintings in this exhibition, created between 1985 and 1989, depict the stunningly beautiful coral reefs off the Philippine islands.
